As a long-established veterinary surgery based in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, Beaconsfield Veterinary Clinic is the place to bring your beloved pets when they get sick.
At a time when veterinary practices are merging, being taken over by national companies, and generally becoming increasingly profit driven, we are proud to maintain our independence and put our client's needs first. Maintaining our core principles of being caring, friendly, and reasonably priced, we strive to make sure that we provide the best quality of veterinary medicine and surgery possible.
As one of the first things that new clients notice when they walk into our practice, our welcoming approach is what we pride ourselves on. Putting you and your pets first, we're happy to offer our expert advice over phone or in the surgery.
All of our staff are lovers of animals and greatly appreciate the bond that you have with your pet. This is why we want you both to enjoy your visit at our veterinary surgery. Our surgery has forecourt parking and disabled access. We offer additional services, such as:
Acupuncture Behaviour Advice Puppy Socialisation Classes
Clipping Bathing Free Nurse Clinics
Grooming Pet Passports Weight & Dental Check
Flea & Worming Dietary Advice Pet Health Counselling
Although we offer high-quality services, you can also expect value for money from us. However, please note that this certainly does not mean we use special offers to try and get you through the door. Instead, our prices are consistently average across the board. Our policy is to discuss all the options and costs and help clients make the right decision for their own personal circumstances.
We Offer Free Health Checks
Open to both new and existing clients, one of our skilled vets will check the general health of your pet free of charge. We're able to provide you with advice on weight, dental care, behaviour, flea treatments, wormers, and vaccines. Aiming to help protect your pet against diseases and parasites where possible, we'll always recommend which products are going to be the best and most effective treatment. Any products you purchase, or follow-up veterinary treatment you choose will be charged at the normal rate.
Since 2006, our practice regularly goes through building and equipment improvements to ensure the quality care is provided. Recently, our consulting rooms were refurbished to become one of the best-equipped practices in town. Our three vets and five nurses have a good mix of surgical and medical skills, which are regularly improved through attendance at continuing professional development courses. In the event that your pet requires more specialist care or equipment, we have close relationships with various local referral centres.
