Cat Senior Clinic
Admit & Weight Check
In the morning, one of our nurses will take you and your cat through to a consult room and discuss how your cat is doing and if you have seen any changes. Your cat will also have a weight check on our scales.
Blood Test
Our nursing team will take some bloods from your cat from either their jugular vein (neck) or a cephalic vein (front leg) and run these in our in-house lab.

A vet will check these results and in some cases, additional blood tests may be taken to be sent off to our external lab or additional investigations.
Blood Pressure
The nursing team will also take your cat's blood pressure. We do everything we can to ensure they are not stressed throughout any tests to help with accurate blood pressure results - sometimes with treats!

Vet Check
The vet and nursing team will do an in depth check of your cat, including checking their heart, mobility, eyes and any other particular concerns, e.g. ears
Urinalysis
We will also collect a urine sample from your cat and test this in house.

Depending on the results, we sometimes will advise that a urine sample may need to go to the external lab.
Discharge & Hometimes
Our vet will give you a call or make an appointment to discharge the patient and go through the findings of the day.

Once this has all been done, your cat is free to go!
